LCPL Jerell Thompson left Camp LeJune in North Carolina and was deployed as part of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit to Iraq on March 24th. He will be on the USS Ponce LPD15 a Amphibious Transport ship most of the time and will only have to go into Iraq if his unit is needed. Allison expects him back sometime in October 2005. Jerell graduated from the Marine Corp bootcamp in Paris Island, SC on November 21, 03
Then he and Allison were married on January 2, 2005.
Jerell will be 20 years old on May 31, 2005.
